How to Thrive in Middle School

Overview

Our How to Thrive in Middle School summer program course is open to all students (boys and girls) entering grades 4–6 in the fall. This course will teach students everything they need to know about being successful in middle school and will include a math refresher, a writing workshop, talking technology, gaming, digital citizenship, study skills, and more.
Instructors for the summer program are primarily Cathedral School for Boys’ middle school educators. Teachers from other Bay Area independent, public, and parochial schools may also be included. Our instructors are highly experienced and strive to create a fun, safe, and exciting learning environment for all students.

Parents of campers will be invited to a How to Survive Middle School informational presentation in August. Cathedral School middle school teachers will share tips and resources as well as answer questions regarding ways you can support your child before and during middle school. More information on How to Survive Middle School will be provided after enrollment.
