Brainworks

Overview

Brainworks is a summer program for boys and girls designed to inspire and enrich students through a variety of educational classes and workshops. Our mission is to keep kids inspired academically by exposing them to new, challenging classes in a fun camp environment. Classes are co-ed and are designed for children entering grades 1–8 in the fall.
Students will get the opportunity to participate not only in an academic program, but also an athletic one. The second half of the day is dedicated to sports, getting outside, and socializing. Coached by Cathedral School for Boys’ very own coaches and P.E. faculty, campers will have fun while learning how to be part of a team, practicing sportsmanship and other useful skills.

Instructors for the summer program are primarily Cathedral School for Boys’ year-round educators. Teachers from other Bay Area independent, public, and parochial schools may also be included. Our staff is highly experienced and strives to create a fun, safe, and exciting learning environment for all students. Some classes will be assisted by Counselors in Training, a program for alumni or students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Instructors are subject to change without notice.
